ABOUT

Jaclyn has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years. As a MS in Nutritional Sciences (functional medicine) NASM certified personal trainer, USAW-L1 Weightlifting coach and Certified Sports Nutritionist she is passionate about sharing her healthy lifestyle with others and helping them achieve their personal goals with custom training and nutrition programs.

 

Jaclyn works with 100's clients of all fitness levels including performance sports, competitive bodybuilders, weightlifters, MMA fighters, CrossFit and professional athletes. Whether you are looking to increase strength, lose weight, become more active, or train for competition, Jaclyn develops a program for every type of goal. 

 

This very personal approach is rooted in her philosophy that each individual body is different and requires a tailored plan and approach focused on scientific principles of training .  With a focus on total health and wellness, Jaclyn’s training programs include education on living a healthy, active, life outside of the gym. The knowledge Jaclyn provides to her client’s sets them up for success at the grocery, eating out and even while traveling.

Jaclyn’s approach to living a healthier lifestyle is founded in science-based nutrition. Jaclyn uses her experience in macronutrient planning to develop a nutritional program which complements your active lifestyle. For clients that have specific health needs or concerns, Jaclyn has and extensive education in functional medicine nutrition. 

 

Jaclyn's personal passion is Olympic Weightlifting prior to taking on this sport she spent 20 years bodybuilding, where she has placed in every competition she has participated in.

 

As a believer in continuing education, Jaclyn is also a member of the International Society of Sports Nutrition. Currently she is a student at the National Strength & Conditioning Association studying for her CSCS. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Bridgeport with a MS in Human Nutrition.

Jaclyn is a contributing editor to Muscle & Fitness Hers, featured contributor to Men's Fitness, Muscle & Fitness, Shape, & Fitness Magazines. She is also a contributor to FurtherFood and educates other fitness professionals, coaches, athletes about nutrition through educational seminars.
